Your questions, answered openly.
It's normal to have questions before taking the first step. Here are the ones I hear most often.
- How does the first session work?
- It's a time to get to know each other. You tell me what brings you, in your own way, and together we see whether this setting suits you. There's no commitment.
- Do I need to want to stop to seek help for addiction?
- No. You can come to cut down, to stop, or simply to take stock and understand. We start from where you are.
- Do I need a medical referral?
- No, you can book directly, online or by contacting me.
- Are our conversations confidential?
- Yes. As a psychologist, I am bound by professional secrecy. What is said in session stays between us.
- In which language are sessions held?
- In French or English, whichever feels most comfortable for you.
- How long does therapy last?
- It depends on your situation and what you're looking for. Some people come for a few focused sessions, others for longer support. We review things together regularly.
- What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
- That's fine. Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance so we can find another time.
A space to begin, together.
A first meeting to open a space to talk and reflect together on what could help you.
